Darbandikhan Dam Renovation

In 2009, Mafkar’s founder, Eng. Mohammad Ali Salih, led renovation and reconstruction works at Darbandikhan Dam in Sulaymaniyah Governorate.

The works covered the dam’s side ditch, its guard rails, the retaining wall along the sub-base road, and the garden and park of the management offices. The works also included building the upstream right bank to strengthen the dam’s roads and infrastructure.

The project was completed in seven months and improved both the safety and the appearance of the dam and its surroundings.
