BanuiTalaban Dam

Mafkar’s founder, Eng. Mohammad Ali Salih, led the construction of the BanuiTalaban Dam in Koya, Erbil Governorate, for the Kurdistan Region Ministry of Agriculture in 2010. It is one of the largest projects of his career.
The earth-fill dam is 305 m long and 21 m high, with a 17 m wide spillway, and stores more than 3,000,000 m³ of water for agriculture and tourism.
